Female-owned and operated, Homegrown Taproom & Kitchen was created with one goal in mind: to provide the Donelson community with a space where everyone feels at home. The craft beer selection at Homegrown is unparalleled, with a focus on sourcing local brews first. Enjoyed this place with about 26 of my family members as we wrapped up a yearly Family Reunion.
I had the burger which was cooked to perfection and while this may seem trivial, the lettuce wasn't the run-of-the-mill iceberg or romaine, I believe it was it was Boston bib!
Sonya was our waitress & she was attentive, friendly & professional! Even getting in on the hugs while we all begrudgingly left for our respective states till next year at one of those states.
TN family all said that's the go-to place & I understand why!

Today was my first time stepping foot in this place. The use of colors was eye catching. Cara, is phenomenal! Along with the other FOH staff, everything is so cohesive. The menu offers things that may not be seen at many restaurants. I had the curry vegetable quesadilla and the Hot Brown. The cooks were available to speak to me and Chris was very polite.
If you love eating fresh food, made with chemistry, and delivered as soon as it’s ready, then this is the spot. Plus side…they only have a beer and wine license, so you’re not going to be overwhelmed by people enjoying hard liquor. This is not “a” spot…this is “the” spot.

Great place with a nice and friendly atmosphere in Donelson. I had an excellent Reuben! They also have a great selection of beers on tap, as well as bottles and cans. Also, they are LGBTQI+ friendly and it has a great vibe and good service.
